In 2003 amid the surreal aftermath of 9/11 Bogs Visionary Orchestra released their old-timey debut album Recession Special. Almost twelve years since its original release Recession Special is being reissued by Awkwardcore Records. The reissue titled Recession Special Revisited has been remastered and is presented in a new track order, with five previously unreleased, and five newly embellished tracks. The release of Recession Special Revisited may cause the listener to ask, "Has anything changed since 2003?". Well, we invite you to take a listen!
I see your face
Many faces
Some with hope
Some without
I listen as you hum your tune
And put words to your melody
Listen!
Hear the cheers?
The cheers of many
Who don't feel alone
Because you took the risk
And sang out of tune
